Who doesn’t want a Cannes?

Sometimes I’ll enter competitions because who doesn’t want to say they won a Cannes award? Well, this was the Young Lions Health Competition and they had partnered with Every Mother Counts. The brief was simple, create a print advertisement that would spread awareness of the importance of safety for all mothers during their pregnancy and child birth.

The idea was to show both sides of the story, visually and through copy. We got second place, which was pretty cool. But even cooler, I got you to read this ad which means you now aware of EMC and the importance of safely for all mothers and babies! And that’s a first place win for me!
